Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney is a lawyer from America and Lebanon. She is also a human rights campaigner and philanthropist. She was born Amal Ramzi Al-Amuddin. She graduated from Oxford University and New York University School of Law her long and accomplished professional career in the field of international law and human rights have won her international acclaim. Some of her most prominent clients include several nation-states including the country of Armenia in its fight to be recognized as Armenia's participation in the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was engaged in 2014 and later was married in 2015 to American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household name. Before her marriage, she was admired and well-known in legal circles due to her accomplishments in defending clients. The scope of her activities range from the tackling of social justice and human rights issues to representing several multinational corporations during negotiations and court actions regarding government regulation.
